News | Environmental Journalism: learning how to communicate climate change
The Education and Scientific Research Network of the UNESCO Dolomites Foundation is promoting a training course entitled ‘Environmental Journalism’ on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 November in conjunction with newspaper editors and Associations of Journalists. The course has been organised by tsm – Trentino School of Management and MUSE – Trento Science Museum and is free of charge. Those wishing to attend must email firstname.lastname@example.org by 28 October to register.
Aim of the course
The aim of the course is to identify the most appropriate ways of teaching and informing people about climate change and the impact man has on the air, water and land, as well as improving the content and language used by journalists when dealing with these issues.
The course will cover topics of both journalistic and educational relevance regarding the environment, following the guidelines of the programme of the Education and Scientific Research Network, with contributions from experts from the worlds of science and journalism, as well as a chance to discuss and debate the issues.
