Dolomites photography workshops organised by Pixcube.it

The UNESCO Dolomites Foundation is to sponsor a series of photographic workshop events organised by PixCube.it. The workshops will be held between January and October 2015 in some of the protected areas within the nine Dolomite systems, and led by experts and professional photographers.

The idea is to bring together and integrate the landscape and photography. The workshops will focus on the biodiversity of the areas in which they are held. The experience will be documented digitally with a display designed to enhance appreciation of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is estimated that when all the workshops have been completed, some 125,000 photographs will have been taken.

Taking part in the project will be the parkland authorities making up the Dolomites Foundation Parks Network: Parco Naturale di Paneveggio Pale di San Martino, Parco Nazionale Dolomiti Bellunesi, Parco Naturale Tre Cime, Parco Naturale Puez Odle, Parco Naturale Dolomiti Ampezzane, Parco Naturale Dolomiti Friulane and Parco Naturale Adamello Brenta.
The project is supported by Nikon for Parks, Federparchi, AltaBadia and AltaPusteria.

Each workshop will last two days, and anyone may sign up for them. For more information and to sign up, consult the special page on the Pixcube website.
