Immerse yourself in natural heritage

On the RaiPlay platform, viewers can rewatch the series of ten episodes created by Ivo Pecile and Marco Virgilio for the UNESCO Dolomites Foundation, exploring the landscape and geological features of the Natural Parks of the Dolomites World Heritage Site.  Evocative images are accompanied by interviews and original accounts from managers of the Parks and experts in geology, helping us to understand the importance of protected areas in safeguarding this unique World Heritage Site.

Reflect on the present and future of the Dolomites

On the YouTube channel of the UNESCO Dolomites Foundation, viewers can go back and enjoy episodes of “Noi Dolomiti”, the programme, now in its seventh season, aired during the autumn on Trentino TV, Alto Adige TV, Telebelluno and Telefriuli. It presents the World Heritage Site through the colourful descriptions of those who live their lives there, tackling current issues in managing the Site: the climate crisis, the role of hut managers, the changing face of mountain tourism and problems of overtourism. Users can access all seven seasons, totalling over three-hundred broadcasts.
