Saturday 2 April at 3pm will see the opening, at the Predazzo Geological Museum, of the exhibition entitled Fotografare le Dolomiti (Photographing the Dolomites) organised by Pixcube.it in partnership with Muse, Nikon School and Salewa.
The exhibition, hosted by the Dolomites Geological Museum in Predazzo, is open to visitors from 2 April to 14 May. The pictures taken by the professional partners of Pixcube.it all have as their backdrop the protected areas of the Dolomites.
The aim is to use photography as a vehicle for raising awareness of biodiversity and to generate high-quality, authentic digital content. The protected areas featuring in the show are: Parco Naturale di Paneveggio Pale di San Martino, Parco Nazionale Dolomiti Bellunesi, Parco Naturale Dolomiti di Sesto, Parco Naturale Puez Odle, Parco Naturale Dolomiti Ampezzane, Parco Naturale Dolomiti Friulane and Parco Naturale Adamello Brenta.
The exhibition is being sponsored by the UNESCO Dolomites Foundation and the Italian Ministry for the Environment and Protection of the Land and Sea.
