“Noi Dolomiti”, Autumn on the small screen

A new season – the eighth! – of “Noi Dolomiti” (We, the Dolomites) has begun. The program, produced by the UNESCO Dolomites Foundation, tells the story of the World Heritage Site and its stakeholders: mountain hut managers, mountaineers, alpine guides, members of the Mountain Rescue service, administrators, representatives of associations involved in all aspects of mountain life, business operators, small-scale farmers, scientists, artists: essentially everyone who lives and works in the mountains.

Topics

Among the recurring themes of this eighth season are responsible mountain tourism, the impact of communication on sustainable tourism, geotrekking proposals for discovering the “geology of wonder”, changes resulting from the climate crisis, and, as always, the life and work of mountain hut managers, the primary custodians of the World Heritage Site.
