Resilience, sustainable development, protecting those who work in disadvantaged areas, the present and future of forest heritage. These are just some of the themes that will be featured during the three training days (14-16 October) in Forni di Sopra and Tolmezzo aimed primarily at administrators, technicians, self-employed professionals, representatives of tourism promotion companies, associations and economic operators from the UNESCO Dolomites regions.
Perception, planning and governance
The three-day event is being organised by the Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia and the ITU of Carnia, in collaboration with the Training and Scientific Research Network of the UNESCO Dolomites Foundation and the Regional Federation of the Orders of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects and Conservators of Friuli Venezia Giulia. One of its purposes is to consider the governance of complex regions such as those of the UNESCO Dolomites World Heritage Site. Now in its fourth edition, the course is a valued opportunity to discuss perspectives in the context of the Dolomites from both a scenic and a socio-economic point of view.
